Lead Hazard Control- Risk Assessments
Project Description: Northeast Denver Housing Center (NDHC) is seeking a qualified consultant/agency to provide lead-based paint risk assessment and clearance testing services for the City of Denver's Lead Hazard Control Grant.

NDHC is requesting Qualifications and Proposal for Professional Services from qualified consulting firms, Organizations or individuals for the purpose of providing licensed lead risk assessment and certified clearance-testing services.

The Lead Hazard Control program is includes Home Repair, Private-Owner
Rehab and/or similar housing activities which may require lead risk assessments.
It is not known how many units will need risk assessments and clearance testing
at this time.

NDHC's goal is to come up with a list of certified Risk Assessors available to contact when needed to determine the presence of lead-based paint hazards and to establish appropriate Interim Controls and Remediation. It is estimated the construction work items will be between $5,000 and $10,000 per unit, and will require lead-safe Renovation, Remodeling and Rehabilitation.
Submittal - RFQ FORMAT:
1. Name & Address of business and principal with ownership and contact information.
2. Years of existence and experience in the field with reference of similar projects and number of Risk Assessment completed.
3. Three business references with relationship within the last 5 years.
4. The principle person(s) that will be assigned to this project- with his/her qualification.
5. Professional services- fee schedule

 NDHC has produced over 1,200 units of affordable housing over the past 27 years, including single and multifamily homes as well as new construction and rehabilitation of existing stock. Recently, NDHC was awarded the Governor's Excellence Award for producing the state's first U.S. Green Building Council GOLD LEED certified multi-family home serving households making less than 50% of area median income. NDHC is under contract to implement the City of Denver, State of Colorado and Chicano por la Causa NSP 1 and 2 grants totaling over $5 million.
